We would like to introduce you to Communication Catalyst 2018, a Behaviour Change Strategy Competition launched by the Glenmark Foundation, the CSR arm of Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, in collaboration with Idobro Impact Solutions.

The aim of the competition is to understand the complex nature of the problem of malnutrition and bring into focus the importance of a multi-stakeholder approach to finding solutions and effective responses. The challenge is to build a comprehensive communication strategy that can influence children's food choices, a campaign that can make low-income households more conscious about their children’s health. 'Design thinking' is a problem solving approach that has proved it’s value in recent years by generating solutions for a range of complex issues like health, education, citizen engagement etc.

The competition kicks-off with a series of Design thinking and Problem solving workshops in Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, Pune, Nashik and Mumbai. Students from across the country can form teams and pair up with NGOs to enter the competition. Teams must include 3 to 5 students preferably from the same college. 10 teams will be selected from a shortlist and mentored as they develop their strategies. Five finalists will present their strategy to the Glenmark board members and other eminent members of the jury panel to have a chance at winning a cash prize.
